Bangkok Fight Night this Saturday, February 27th at Centerstage in Atlanta, Ga:

Bobby “Papa Big Country” Peavler is back in the ring to face off against Kenny Segar in a rematch from last year.

Tim Stout makes his return to the main event at Bangkok Fight Night in a welterweight matchup with WEC Veteran Fighter Phil “The Wicked” Wyman.

LUTADOR Grappling is Back!!

Lutador Grappling will be hosting it’s first tournament of the year on March 13th, 2010 at Riverwood International Charter conveniently located right off 285 between 400 and 75.

Ample parking is available between Riverwood and the elementary school next door and as always there’s no charge for parking.

We have added practice Sword’s for the first place winners of all Kids and Teens Divisions with custom medal’s awarded to all other winners.

Over 100 GI & NoGi Divisions for kids, teens & adults

$500 Cash and Team Trophy for Best Team.

$5 Spectator Fee

All points will be awarded IBJJF style.

There is no entry fee for the pro divisions BUT they are invitational only. Each team is allowed a maximum of 2 competitors per pro division. Coaches please contact JasonE@lutadorgrappling.com to submit your candidates for the pro divisions.

Weigh-Ins will be Friday night from 6-8pm at the venue and then again Sat from 8-9am for kids and 8-10am for adults.

We strongly recommend preregistration. Preregistration will be $50 for kids and $60 for adults. Registration at the door will be $75 for kids and $85 for adults.

Our goal is to maintain Lutador’s affordability so, please save yourself $25 by preregistering.

Phillipe Gentry is the latest addition to the Sponsored Fan roster of fighters.

Phillipe a 145lb fighter who trains under Jacare at Alliance and Mr. Brown at Team Eagle, is an accomplished BJJ specialist who won the Pan-Ams as a purple belt in 2009. Along with being an accomplished grappler, Phillipe has really concentrated on his stand-up while working with Mr. Brown.

After returning from the Pan-Ams Phillipe was awarded his brown belt and decided to continue his MMA career by competing for the Georgia ISKA Featherweight Championship which he won in the 5th round in January to go 2-0 in his MMA career.

Besides being an accomplished grappler and fighter Phillipe is part owner of one of the largest grappling tournaments in Georgia, Lutador Grappling and also owns the BJJ apparel company Wicked-Jitsu.

After his KO win over Brian Keler (4-4) at Wild Bill’s Fight Night last weekend, Hard Knox premier 170lb fighter William Kuhn (3-2) called out Sponsored Fan and Unit 2’s Jeff Boudreaux (2-1) by saying, “I want to fight Jeff Boudreaux….he is not a very nice guy….I want to fight him whenever possible.”
