Cook’s Impact Martial Arts 125 fighter who they call “Dynamite” picked up the school’s second ISKA championship fight last Saturday night with D’Angelo putting his opponent to sleep in the second round with a triangle choke to win the Southeast Title.

Following in the foot steps of Tristan Dooley who remains the XFN/ISKA Georgia Heavyweight Champion, D’Angelo continues to excel at all facets of his MMA game. A stand out high school wrestler, “Dee” took to BJJ pretty easily earning his Blue Belt under Jimmy Long in just over a year. He has also concentrated his stand up efforts in traditional Kung Fu under Mark Cook, he has earned the high level of Red Sash.

Congrats to Dee for earning the title!

Other Sponsored Fan fighters in action that night were Josh Downing who lost a decision in a back and forth battle and Sponsored Fan pro fighter Frank Millsap who suffered a loss in the main event due to triangle choke in the first round.

Tex Earns Submission Victory in Biloxi!

No Quarter Sponsored Fighter and Sponsored Fan athlete Tex Johnson took a fight against Brian Albin (6-4) with approximately two weeks notice at the IP Casino in Biloxi, MS.

Tex took full advantage of the opportunity by submitting the Psychout Promotions (different promotion) Light Heavyweight Champion in the first round with an armbar at the 4 min mark improving his record to 6-3 as a pro fighter.

Tex is looking to get back in the ring/cage as soon as possible and negotiations are already under way to take a fight back in Atlanta, Ga on September 11th at Wild Bills.
